The Montafon Alpine Valley is 39 kilometers long. Its 11 resorts with a total of 18,000 guest beds lie between 650 and 1,450 meters above sea-level, surrounded by mountains up to 3,312 meters (Piz Buin). Besides resorts with a predominantly alpine sports character and a varied leisure programme, Montafon has
inviting family-orientated resorts and quiet holiday villages.

Winter changes this Alpine Valley into a unique ski paradise. 61 cableways and ski lifts, 222 km of marked and groomed ski runs, ski touring on the white glaciers of the Silvretta, 100 km of cross-country ski runs, approx. 290 km of winter paths (some floodlit), competition toboggan runs, ten ski schools, eight ski kindergartens, a covered ice rink, two indoor tennis courts and plenty of “après-ski” help you to have a refreshing and active holiday. The Montafon Ski Pass is the inclusive ticket for all the cable railways and ski lifts in the Valley, as well the Montafon Railway Bludenz - Schruns and the public transport in the Valley.
