The hotel
The Gran Hotel Domine Bilbao, facing the Guggenheim Museum, is the Silken Hotels’ first five-star and the chain’s pride. The hotel expresses a contemporary concept that avoids ostentation and promotes fun. The project is infected by its neighbour, the Guggenheim’s, activity and offers a space that contains a selection of furniture that represents the most emblematic design from the 20th century. It isn’t only a hotel to stay at, but a colourist microcosmos that opens its door to whoever wishes to get close to it and have a coffee, a drink or eat in its restaurant.
In the hotel you find 7 different kinds of rooms:
- Domine Basic
- Domine Confort
- Guggenheim Basic
- Guggenheim Club
- Junior Suite
- Guggenheim Studio
- The Suite
Buenas Vistas terrace
A large terrace paved with teakwood from where unusual views of the Guggenheim and the Ría can be taken in, and a covered zone by a copper-latticed canopy that shelters those wishing to shelter high up, allowing the appreciation of the geography of a place where modernisation doesn’t prevent the natural countryside from strongly coming forth from where the urban landscape is interrupted.
