The newest addition to the family - the Son Quint course.
Ramón Espinosa and Kurt Rossknecht, Son Quint's designer, have created a challenging and interesting 18-hole golf course that extends over a distance of more than 6200 metres through beautiful Mallorquin countryside. It takes players past old pine trees and knotty olive trees as they make their way around the course. Two large lakes have been incorporated as refreshing obstacles. Son Quint's slopeside location provides golfers with wonderful views of the lively capital city and the ocean beyond the Bay of Palma.
Strategically positioned bunkers pose a challenge to passionate golfers, though the four tee-off options for standard and tournament rounds, men and women, ensure that beginners can also enjoy the course. The turf on the Son Quint green has to be rich in colour and dense, even at extremely high temperatures. That's why Rossknecht opted for the 'Princess' variety of Bermuda grass which offers ideal fairway and teeing off conditions. The greens and tees have also been built up with Mallorquin sand to improve playing conditions.
After completing an exhilarating round of golf, the players at Son Quint can look forward to the club house's excellent restaurant and facilities for small-scale conferences and functions.
